Undeterred Legacies

It's unlikely you will find me jumping up and down to photograph a wedding (very unlikely...okay, never....) but a military retirement ceremony, that's another story.
Normally I would have already supported several ceremonies by now, summer is an ideal time to retire from the service, especially when relocating school-age family members is involved.
But this year many of our Veterans are quietly retiring via a Zoom session without the band, without the cake and especially without ceremonial photographs.
In this blog post I want to acknowledge all my Veteran Brothers and Sisters who have missed the opportunity to gather their friends and family to witness their final military milestone.
We salute you.
This pandemic does not define your legacy.
We are proud of your service and acknowledge you and your family's sacrifice. Fair Winds and Following Seas.
With that I also would like to wish a Happy Anniversary to the following Veterans who retired during a summer in the presence of my watchful camera.
